My Story

We have signed up again to host Tea for Trussell this year! Last year's event was very successful and we hope lots of you can come this year  to enjoy afternoon tea with background music in our barn and garden today Sunday July 2nd between 3 and 5pm.  We are very excited and have been baking like mad and choosing some varied music for you while you enjoy tea.  There is room for a few more, especially as it looks as if it will be nice enough to sit in the garden.

Why are we fundraising for the Trussell Trust? 

No one should be faced with the indignity of needing emergency food. Yet food banks in the Trussell Trust's network gave out 1.3 million emergency food parcels between 1 April and 30 September 2022. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children.

This is not right. Together, we can end the need for food banks in the UK. Together, we can create a more just society.
